I was browsing for guitar samples this morning for another mix I’m working on (yes, Cig, I am doing it) when I came across this great ready-to-use guitar arrangement by Tapsa.
I immediately went through Panus’s pellas to see if anyone of them fitted keywise.

Found this great one (well, all Panu´s pellas are great) but had to shuffle around the verses a bit to fit the music.
Also, Panu’s verses were a bit too long so I had to make him sort of free form ad lib-ing his way between the bars in order to get all words in.

It may not be obvious, judging from the style of music I make, that the Allman Brothers are my all time favourite band.
When I was younger I used to daydream that I and Gregg Allman were buddies and used to sing campfire songs together somewhere in Texas.
That obviously never happened.

Not many people know that Gregg and Cher (they were married for one day if I remember correctly. Shortest marriage ever in Showbiz) had two secret lovechildren. One of them is Panu, the other one is unreal_dm.

So, instead of Gregg, I suddenly saw an opportunity to sing along in an imaginary campfire song together with Panu, the offspring of Gregg.

I have never spent less time on a mix so it has its imperfections.
Campfire music doesn’t have to be perfect, does it?
