In Spate / Free Rein

Earlier this week Speck asked me if I would be interested in contributing bass and rhodes to something he was working on, and I said yes.

While working on it I ended up rearranging a few bits here and tweaked a few things there - as is my wont - but the core is still very much a Speck track.

So. Here’s what I have to say about working with Speck: it was a real pleasure.

Collaboration is great when you end up with good music; but it’s really cool when you work with nice people. And if you didn’t know it already, Speck’s a nice guy.
