You have bumped up your game, Dougie me boyo. Everything is very carefully balanced and nothing gets out of hand - except possibly for that cymbal. Now, you have a thing for cymbals that I will never understand; I mean, some form of special bond that no other percussion will ever know. Fine. So be it, if that is what’s required to produce a track like this.
The piano, on the other hand, is stellar - both how it’s played and the sound of it. Stel-lar. In conclusion, I love this track with two clicks of my tongue and a single nod at the dull grey sky. |

Wail, ta me a cymbal is a symbol like drankin whiskey from a thimble, it won’t make ya tremble less you assemble ten or twenty, that might be plenty, but really ifn I had any, I’d want a tumbler to make me number and kill that ol pain, so I just turn up the gain until my ears ring from that ol cymbal ping, gently pingin, at my chamber door. Or words ta that effect. Plus, do you ALWAYS have ta mention what ya DON’T like? Didn’t yor mamma teach you no better, Labcoat, ol pal?

Umm. I suggest you don’t read the other review I left you, in that case. Ho-hum. Although in my defense I shall say this: I rarely use the word “stellar”, so that should count for something. Or should it? |

I can see you’re in a mellow phase of life at the moment!
Some nice touches in this which I always come to expect from you. Shows the musicality behind the technology! |

Mellow?! Hell, I just pissed on my neighbors foot fer sayin my boy Buster might not be “the most dangtastic individual boxer type dog on planet earth or maybe in this damn entire galaxy”!! He agreed about the earth part but he couldn’t commit to the entire galaxy part. So, as you can see, I had no choice. We’d been drankin, acourse. What was yor original point again?

Nice piano work dog. Loose and flowing.I really like the progressions and vibe of it all. Love the toms too.
And hey…just listened to Corky’s. THAT is GREAT!!! Brought a smile to my face as well as a good laugh. I was going to comment but there was no button available to comment. Rockin’! |

Wail, It ain’t that often that the local opera company asks ol moi ta sing one a them aria thangs, tho is does happen on occasion. And that ol Corkys piece was so tearful and gut wrenchin…so filled with ironic ambiguity, that I was probly the only tenor that could’ve pulled it off now that Pavarotti’s dead as a nit. Not that I’m tootin my own horn cause as you, yor ownself, knows “humility” is my middle name. Or is it?

Just sickening. Do something ugly, inattentive, and tasteless, will ya? Just for the sheer novelty, you understand. (not that a squawky shrub like me feels tiny in the shade, sequoia-boy…)
