I’m kinda blown away by getting good reviews especially you two. I firmly believe this to be the best thing I’ve done. I’m convinced of that every tune I do but I think that’s a good thing. It is possible to continually improve and there are these ohmygod-eureka moments where someting clicks and you make a quantum leap.
Continual improvement is the key and absorbing criticism such that you turn it into a palpable improvement in your output is the real way forward. I have to say this tune wrote itself interms of inspiration. The rythmmic elements of the tune were dictated by the rap and that made it easier. The arrangement was pretty obvious once it was going. The real struggle was the mix and that’s what took most of the time. Anyway thanks for the positive feedback. Both of you. I’ll endevour to follow it up with something I can be as happy with. As much as I would have loved to hear more of my words and voice in the song(that’s just me being too much of myself) The track is great. The reason I would love to hear more of my voice in it is only because I am digging your mix great job maybe you could get it on radio airplay someday.
