Excellent choice of subject!

This mix has an un nerving effect on my sensibilities and is definitely one of your more esoteric pieces but at the same time the drum rhythym adds a modern feel that holds it all together.

You have once again gone boldly where no man has gone before. As Capt Kirk would say!

Inspired madness that makes sense :-). Now I need to go edit my tags…I thought my mix was “experimental” :-))))).

Wow! You have been pushed over the edge by this contest. I’m busting a gut multiple times at some of the absolutely fantastic (and quite jarring) audio surprises here. Generally, I think your excellent mixing skills are overshadowed by your vocals, in sense. I now hear so much wacked out creativity in this particualr track, I’m stunned.

Very enjoyable, just the sort of music to be found in a french horror-comedy production!

what a quirky piece, with the ballad verses mixed in with all kinds of stravinsky like madness. the conventional beat and bass arrangement mixed in with all the other stuff makes for an interesting and fun ride. you know how to defy genre anchor!

Very Creative and Way out there in left field, but that’s what i love about your Mix and you.

A well-know melody, wrapped in electronic music with large doses of experimentalism. Risky remix that leaves winner of the challenge taken. I like very much Anchor.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder. The Green Fairy seems quite present in this edgy yet wonderful production. The female vox adds an interesting quality…like Edith Piaf in the midst of a drunken binge. The familiar cello snippets are a nice touch as well. Bravo!

Way to go AM! A perfect “mad scientist” piece of music out there on the thin part of the ledge. Very, very cool!

This is pretty extraordinary, even by your extraordinary standards. You manage to find a sinister depth under the apparent innocence of the folk song. Somehow the rhythm loops add to the tension.

Anchor,

what a mixture and what an idea. One of the things that I also like on your remixes is, that you write and comment all your thoughts on production and concept. So one can read while listening.
Your neurotic cello is top notch and the title makes me remember my first absinthe that I drank in Portugal!

I just want you to know that I listened as I attempt to learn more about your ouvre — I am flabbergasted by what I just heard (in a good way, of course) and don’t believe that I can even coherently comment on this beyond avant-experimental composition.

I am amazed. This is proof that anything can be turned into music, and done well.
