I already put a recommend on DoKashiteru’s original track, with an easy hook but a very peculiar arrangement (also from ditto’s beginning). Your voice on top of that adds to all that significantly, this is the kind of things that builds up in this place. Beautiful, light, but not that much. Always a little out of the border (in a positive way I mean it).

Thank you Caro
I agree that some offerings on ccmixter do take on a life of their own. I appreciate your visit. As ever, “out of the border”, Mr. Mejans |

Spring is over here in the Orient and we now move into typhoon time and humidity headaches so to have a little fresh air is wonderful.
Once again you have combined some fine music with the right words and approach. The dog was very good too! |

For a moment it really looked like spring over here, but now we are back in autumn again. This very nice tune is a welcome antidote.

This is absolutely FANTASTIC! I LOVE what you’ve done with this, Anchor. The vocals and lyrics fit so beautifully with the music it’s as if they were written together. Stellar work

I really did “hear” the melody the 1st time I heard your composition. Aside from that…it was a fun thing to sing. You’ve got the knack!

There is something with your voice that always makes me want to cry, regardless of the subject of the song. But I am a very sentimental guy and I am very weak for good voices. Is’n this the strangest compliment you’ve ever heard?

Dear Saint -
actually no - believe it or not I have heard this before…and in person people are always breaking out in tears around me! Maybe I should have been a priest or psychotherapist. Thank you for your comments. Always appreciate a visit from you! |

“Love is forever”? But there is “No Forever”! Ah, Paradox! Well, Romantic/Cynic…each can experience Spring in their own way. Lovely tune, my friend. I have to mention I detect a bit of distortion on your vox of late—I thot first it might be intentional, but I think maybe your new set-up is more sensitive than previous. Just an observation.
|
|
.
Thanks Zen - more likely the distortion is from my mixing skills!
I always like your reviews. |

Love this track Anchor.. The harp adds a joyous clelebratory element to it. Perfect for this time of year. Nice collab work. The lyrics express that longing to just GET OUT in the warm sun with the one you love.

This is absolutely magical!
The high notes (with harmony I believe?) take the song into spine tingling territory. And yes, it feels like it was composed and recorded with everyone (and their dog!) in the same room. Remarkable! |
|
.
Thank You Spin -
I wish I could afford to hire a permanent harmony back-up group! As it stands i usually have do all the parts! My dog (as is heard here) sometimes chimes in! |
