aaah this is class, reminds me of a smokey jazz bar i used to chill at in london’s covent garden called palookaville many moons ago.nostalgia aside this is first class musicianship and the old vinyl effect shows great attention to detail.that’s just what i think

Well, I greatly appreciate your thoughts. :)

I wanted to create a classic type of track, which meant staying in character for everything. Glad you noticed. :)

I love the dirt on this. The popping of a needle on an old record, very cool. The jazz club feel, sweet.
The drums and keys, Wow!!!!!
Very impressive.

wow man, sultry and very cool. it’s like ducking into a basement bar in the west village to get out of the rain and it’s dimly lit with a tight little jazz quartet backing up manhattan’s best kept secret torch singer. way too short!

Re: singer - you are so right. These vocals are just so lovely, and this is the track that came to mind immediately.

Re: length - two things, I guess. One is that it fits the style where tracks so often were between 2 and three minutes. Also, I wanted to make sure that I didn’t go over-indulgent and have a solo that overshadowed the vocals.

Thanks for your review - I do appreciate it.

Very delightful, señor. You have created something that creates a lovely texture and have brought out the pella in an intriguing way.

I personally am glad that you didn’t go for the house-like track, because the music is a perfect fit for the pella.

Thanks - much appreciated.

I will say though that this vocal performance is so strong that it can carry any style of interpretation.

Thanks for leaving a review!

Thank you - I very much appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.

I haven’t been doing a lot of this type of music recently, but your vocals really just brought it out, and I was very happy to work with them.

Thanks again.

I would have liked to hear the CD version without the scratches but this is one fantastic mix.

The vox is wonderful and just creates it’s own magic but the backing track production is first class and something really on another level!

Very inspirational music!!

Spectacular job — the track totally supported the vocal in tone and beauty.

I am going through your latest uploads and this is a long cue, Sir!

You have done everything in justice for this outstanding remix!
This is probably the 100th repetition of my own words, but this is really one of your high quality premium works.

You seem to have the same bad luck as Martin Scorcese, nominated so often for an Oscar but yet never (except for “Departed”) been choosen for the award.

I would have given you this price, one day I hope somebody of the edpickers might see how good and beautiful your music is.

Hahah - thank you, but an Ed pick has always been entirely unnecessary when I get feedback as nice as this. :)

Thank you for your support. I very much appreciate it.
