Very easy and joyful to work with a professional like you, Mikael. I’ll upload the trumpet sample as soon as I’m on my own computer.

What really makes a professional is great musical instinct, attention to detail and being fun to work with - and you have all three, my good man. The pleasure was truly mine on this. Let’s do it again soon. |

I’ve actually attempted this vox a couple of times with the end result always being something I’m not really happy with. When I hear this version however, it sounds oh so natural. A clean and cozy mix. Nice…

Thanks Scott - very much appreciated. I had the same experience with her vocals, and it wasn’t until recently that I found an angle/style that made sense to me. Thanks for taking the time to listen and to leave a comment. I appreciate it coming from you. |

I don’t get to visit often these days, but I know that a colab tune is always one I can rely on for quality ;-)

I am so mad I missed the show and so glad we have it captured here! Yvonne, Per and Mikael — supergroup from colder climes! I just love this track — its delicacy and melancholy are just delicious!

Thank you! I actually made this track before my other narva track, but we put a lot more work into this one. Thanks for the kind words - much appreciated. |

Inspiring? I’ll take that. :) Re: two uploads - I hadn’t planned for this one to happen, but then things started rolling and one thing led to another. Thanks for the mention about the stems - it’s a new thing for me. More laziness than anything, but I’ll try to keep it up. Thanks again. |

I agree the trumpet is fantastic - I love what Per did. The live vibe - it was a bit of a random thing for me to do, but once I heard the trumpet the only thing I could picture was a live band playing together in a small club. :) Thanks for leaving a comment. Much appreciated. |

This is great guys. I feel I’m in the corner of the club sippn a neat scotch, spotting the end of Per’s trumpet rising through the clouds of cigar smoke.
Great rhodes Colab :-) Thanks for posting the stems |

Great rhodes Colab :-) Thanks for posting the stems You’re very welcome, and thanks yourself for the nice words. This was a lot of fun to work on. I know Per would say his didn’t contribute much, but each of his suggestions and additions had a great impact on the final track. Re: stems - I sort of lost the habit a while back and am trying to ease back into it. Glad you liked. |

You don_t know how good you are by doing this kind of music.
I have forgotten to mention something on your last remix with narva9. The sound(and your playing)the wurli reminds me a lot of my first significant experiences in the 70s with music where they played this epiano (and in this area they played a lot of it!). and so, this gives me a sweet memory of this time. Per-s contribution on trumpet is simply superb, a real good add on and a stunning quality on sound and melodies. Huge bravo for a great “Trio”. If you should ever quit your job, why don_t try to make music like this in future? |

Thank you - I’m glad I could be part of triggering those memories. Very nice. For me this is very Swedish - at least the harmonies and chord progressions. The funny thing about the sounds is that I didn’t really have a lot of experience with them growing up, but have really connected with them in my adult years because the rhodes have this uncanny ability to both stand out and hide behind the mix at the same time, if that makes sense. Glad you pointed out Per’s trumpet. I love it. And if you can find me a gig that pays as well as my day job, I’ll sign up straight away. :) Thanks again. It’s absolutely terrific to get this type of feedback. |

Any chance you mean this one? It’s absolutely fabulous, and the reason I came across the pella (just recently, actually). Thanks for the thumbs up. |

OMG. This is awesome. We sound like a live jazz trio. It feels like you’re right in the room.
I love the randomness and the quirky order. Seriously cool. Thank you so much. n9 |

Your lyrics and delivery were perfect for this type of track, and once Per sent me his trumpet it all came together quickly. Thanks again. Really glad you liked. |
