Classic Colab is in a class of its own! Come on! This is absolutely lovely. I love the effect of my voice being low and somewhat remote while the delicate tones float like a very gentle snow flurry, and the organic warmth of the bass tone lurks like a wolf. I am so glad that you are a part of this project!

Thank you much - I’m really glad you liked. To be honest, this wasn’t at all what I had in mind when I started out - but once I began playing with it I found myself going somewhere quite different.

Thanks for the thumbs up. I will continue to look for angles on the white cube and see if something else pops out.

Organic is a great word to hear - suggests life rather than sterile electronic bits and pieces. Thanks for that.

Thank you much. I honestly wasn’t sure about this track because I changed it a few times before uploading - so I’m really pleased to get the positive feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

Wow - that’s a lot of weight for one track to carry. :)

Thanks for that. I very much respect your opinion.

Now that’s a particularly nice comment to read. What you say about the overall community is bang on - the last secret mixter really got me thinking about how good the music is that people create for no other reward or reason than some sense that sharing music with others has a value.

Anyway. I ramble. Thanks for your comment - means a lot.

Hahaha - thank you - very nice to read.

I was shooting for something very different, but then one track led to another, which led me to delete the original, which led to something else, and then I was back in colab-land again. :)

Thanks for leaving a comment.

Beautiful - the rhythm helps it to flow along in kind of organic way, and I love the softness of the textures.

This is the Colab i love that creates the integral mystery that is the foundation of My , U Teru S Mix.

One thought would be it is only marginally stereo. Some spacial ploy with that bass and your tinkleys would help .

Thanks LS. Really makes me glad to hear.

You are very right. All instruments are fairly narrow to start with, and I then applied the same amount of stereo width to all, with the result that there’s no variation for the ear to pick up on.

I’ll have a look if there’s something I can change, and will upload a few stems later.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Appreciate it.

Probably a colab classic, but not the bad sort of! :-)

This is a nice listen on a friday evening to start in a weekend.
Calms you down when you need it.

Have a nice weekend to Mr. Hansson!

Thank you for that. :)

I’m glad people have liked this one. When I uploaded it I wasn’t sure because I had gone through a few changes already on it. But sometimes I just have to back to the basics, I suppose. :)

You have a great one too.

This has me reflecting on how the track has that essential “colab-ness” that made your work stand out when you first came ‘round ccMixter-way… but now a whole slew of folks know and love it!
As long-absent DHR might say, “Real magnum opus you got here, labcoat ol’ pal.”

Hahaha. That’s very nice. Really. I miss the big lug - thanks for the reminder. :)

And thanks. You’re one of those people you mentioned, and I’ve appreciated it from day one.

Have a great weekend. I’m taking off early this afternoon for beers and nonsense talk. The best sort.

Makes me think of the German band Cluster. (Why must I feel the need to make comparisons? Lake of adjectives in my arsenal, I think).

“Lake” of adjectives? I rather like that. :)

I don’t know Cluster at all, but will now look them up. Always good to get new references. Thanks for the thumbs up.

The old subminal misspelling trait. Have to use spell check from now on. Regarding Cluster, there are also some albums the individual members did with Eno. One is under the name Eno-Moebius-Rodelius (not sure if I spelled his name correctly). The mid-70’s merging of kraut-rock, art-pop and ambient music.

Classic Colab - it doesn’t get much better than that. Really good composition that lacks some minor tweaking. Could simply be that all parts feel a little clustered in the center.

Anyway, I love classic Colab :)

Haha - you are very right. :)

I spent all of 4 hours on this one, which is pretty standard for me as I can’t squeeze in that much time to work on music, and really dislike working on something for more than one night. :)

I would say “next time”, but I know I’ll do the same thing then too.

Thanks for the comment - I very much appreciate it.

Yes - that is double nice. :)

It would drive you nuts to hear how little time I spent on this track. It was very fast. Took less time than for you to say all of those “very”.

Thanks for the review - much appreciated.

A few weeks I listening “white cube” remixed from Dokashiteru. I consider where else could listen to different versions, different authors, learn to listen to other versions, open my mind. This is a unique of ccmixter. Unique of their authors. I am happy, that I am a part of this world of sound.

Yes - I’m very glad you mention that, because that’s the best part of ccmixter for me - getting exposed to all the different ideas and interpretations which help me improve myself.

Thanks gain for the nice comments - very much appreciated.
