Thank you. I don’t know what it is, but CB really brings out the creativity in me and the music just flows. It’s nice that you left a comment on this one, because this track has an identical lineage to this one. Something that started as a very specific “colab” idea, but then turned into something different - and much better for it. Thanks for the listen and for leaving a comment. |

I won’t sue you. I’ll be your advocate. I’m breathless. What an incredibly moving piece of music — your track accentuating, highlighting, bringing out the emotion inherant in Ciggi’s passionate vocal. I actually feel a bit like a blathering idiot because I’m just floored by how stunning this track is so I’ll stop now.

That’s alright. Your review is just right. It means a lot to me to get an emotional comment so thank you. This was a special project for me to do, so it’s doubly special to get positive feedback. Thank you. |

As I’m listening to this, there’s simultaneous rain and sunshine out my window. Seems mother nature has provided the perfect visual for this remarkable piece of music.

Now that’s a nice visual - thanks for sharing that, and for taking the time to leave a comment. Very much appreciated. |

Ah now. It’s the “as always” that gets me. Thank you much, PM. This was simultaneously a very important project for me and a quick one. It’s nice when that particular combination happens. |

I can only agree with the praises above. This one brings out the best in both of you. Ciggi never sounded better and your gorgeous b/t is enchanting. Good music should evoke emotions and this one really does so.

Mikael, I’m feeling stunned in the best possible way, first by this perfect mix, so utterly beautiful, intricate and extraordinarily attuned to the theme of the song; second by your comments on my vocal and our collaboration. For my part, the latter was a pleasure from start to finish and I feel proud to have been included on this piece. Thank you. xxxx

Funny how that works, because this track wouldn’t have existed if not for your vocals, which in turn wouldn’t have existed without the track that kicked this off. :) Thanks for all the work you put into this. It really paid off. This track is one of the ones I’m particularly proud to have been involved with. |

You’ve certainly captured the mood of this sad sad story. Well inspired shared energy. (Coincidentally I was just about to upload a mix of you and Ciggi et al when I found this.)

Pretty excellent work… I like that you are in love with acoustic basses, but I just wonder how would this sound with an electric bass (not electronic but electric)
I have a question. Since you use Record (propellerhead’s solution for audio) what is audacity for then..? By the way I havent seen Record working yet… Would really like to see what it is capable of. Ahhh Nice track.. but you already knew that.. |

Hmm - yes. I see that. I do love electric basses too have used them often. That’s a good suggestion. Could do that with a different playing style to be a more rhythmic. Quote: wellmanI have a question. Since you use Record (propellerhead’s solution for audio) what is audacity for then..? By the way I havent seen Record working yet… I use Audacity for pitch shifting and also to convert audio files to AIF (if I use MP3s or FLACs from ccM, for instance). Record is perfect for me, because I like the Reason user interface and how you work with it. Record extends that with a better mixer, better sequencer and with audio capabilities. So I love it. But it might be hard for someone who comes from Ableton Live to understand Record (just like the opposite is true). Oh - and thanks for the review. Much appreciated. :) |

I love this - a true ‘colab’-oration that works on every level.

Hah - yes. This one was special. It’s funny, but I was a bit stuck until I let go of the original version. After that the music came out immediately. Funny how that happens sometimes. :) Thanks for the support. Really glad you liked. |

Thanks for that - this was a very personal track for me, so it’s doubly rewarding to get good feedback. Re: ed pick - I’ve been very lucky over the two years here to have a group of people who take the time to leave comments when they listen, and that means a lot more to me. But thanks - I appreciate it. :) |
