Totally weird and totally cool. I especially like the overlapped phrases at the end so it almost sounds like I’m harmonizing with myself. Well done. Love the texture.

I was not sold on this at first - really didn’t see where it was going - but then the various ambient elements hit in waves and I was completely sold.
Having said that, to my ears it would be good to introduce some space at the mid-point - maybe by gradually bringing down the taiko drums and let the more ambient elements speak. |

Apparently we think alike. In this case I decided not to do that because I had built the drumming at a slowly increasing intensity and didn’t want to interrupt that flow.

this is truly an aural treat! every sample is pitch perfect & synched like there’s no tomorrow. Speck’s gone global with the baddest band in Asia on this one. 785

Great piece of music! If I dare to say a lot more easy to listen (for me) than many of your uploads. I love the mix of dark and intense percussion with the light jazz song and the more ambient surrounding sounds.

The elements are sewed together with surgical precision without the sound being cold. On the contrary this is music with a pulse. It breathes and it’s got veins and organs. I wish I could do music like this.

I can’t stop playing this, it’s so compellingly dream-like and hypnotic. Beautifully put together and CSM’s voice lulling the listener in the most delicious way. xxxx

You’re Dorothy Lamour? (joke) Actually I spend a lot of time in 30’s and 40’s movies, thanks to TCM and a DVR. If I were a film maker my first project would be to make a brand new old movie. |

The problem with being review number nine, is that most of the apt analogies and good adjectives have already been taken — but I just gotta say I totally dig this track!

Very inventive pastiche of sounds and ideas to make a fun, lively song that really holds the listener. Thanks for including me in the fun!

This is amazing. I love pretty much everything going on in here, and your combination of these samples is extremely artful.
