Ahh now. I have been away for a while and now I am back, finally getting a chance to sit down to listen to some music and the first track I hear is yours.
This starts out normal-ish, and slowly but surely descends into some bonafide madness. The sections with duplicated, reverbed PM vocals are incredible. Not easy listening, but rewarding as hell. |

Strange enough to be avant garde, and melodic enough to still be quite folky. A nice balance between the two impulses…. well until the craziness at the end ensues.

Absolutely brilliant use and combination of the sources and the effects on Panu’s voice are so right. It’s amazing how Panu’s voice seems to fit so well in any type of arrangement. Extra plusses for clear and crisp production. I love this!

Speck, it’s still a mystery to me, how you get your ideas.
It seems you don’t care about bpm, keys etc.. Nevertheless your result mixes are always so uncommon and interesting ones. Just great! |

Oh Speck, this is extraordinarily good. It’s beyond me to analyse why it works but it does. It’s something to do with getting the feel of Panu’s voice and words then creating more of that mood around them. Amazing. xxxx

you are, for me, a masterful digital conjurer, Mr. Speck. i’m lovin’ this. it sounds, oddly enuff, like my 20 year old demos on 1/4” tape.

After half way through I had to stop what I did and restart. This needs sitting between the speakers and serious listening and then it evolves - wow! Like opening a bottle of 15 year old Bordeaux getting better with each sip…

surreal - for some reason I got a funny and strange image in mind of Angie Dickinson and Salvador Dali out West - drinking in bar and talking art and philosophy.
nice work - great composition! |

Your avatar and your music, they’re evenly strange. I love this.
